This is an ad in the USA Today. My husband called and listened to the taped ';seminar';. Although they do not say it is a MLM it follows a chain of persons below. Has anyone done this, truly, and it really be worth the effort that it claims to be? And only take a tiny bit of time per week to be successful as we don't really have much time at all. that is so stupid, look at it like this. If the company running the ad can make 100k for every 3500 they invest why would they invest in an advertisement in USA today? Ask yourself this question: If I found a way to make 33 times what I invested in a product / company in a short period of time with no risk, who would I tell? Would I tell people I didn't know; or would I get my brother, sister, mother, father, son, daughter, aunties, uncles, friends, etc, etc. involved.


I was given a brochure once for a similar thing about 6 months ago and the mathematics ';proving'; it worked were just stupid.


This is a scam.
The only people who are getting rich are the one who sell the seminars, which is what you will be required to do to make that kind of money.





A town of a million people. 30 people sign up for this. That is .00003 % of the population, far less than the average business market expectation.





30 X $3500 = $105,000.





Do it again in 3 months with another 30, etc, that's $420,000 a year.





I know I couldn't sleep with myself knowing I just ripped a bunch of people off.
I have tried something similar before and they asked us to come to a meeting. After they had everyone awwwed at how much money they could make, they asked for several thousand dollars.

This seems to be the kind of scam that comes round every few years. Bring it to the attention of the police and do not spend a dime on it.

Fire fox may be having a problem so be sure to ask for any updates or fixes for it. Go to System Restore, this will restore your computer back a few days or more (its up to you how far back that you need to go) before this started to happen. Go to Start%26gt;All Programs%26gt; Accessories%26gt; System Tools%26gt; scroll down where you will see System Restore, click there and follow directions. I hope that this information help out. When you are in business and something doesn't sell, you can't be sentimental. Lower the price until it sells. Then when the next donor gives you a teddy bear, you can sometimes say ';We don't sell those any more'; and not hurt their feelings. /I am asking this to anyone who works in a charity shop!

I use a casio electronic dictionary which I bought here in Japan and it works wonders for me. Be sure to buy one that has a small screen where you can use a stylus and write kanji yourself. This will help you in situations where you don't know the kanji's reading and you don't want to search by stroke number as that would take forever.





I recommend electronic dictionaries to supplement your Japanese learning for sure. Be careful about word choice though.


One time my student was trying to tell me that she had had a daydream about her boyfriend on the train. The word she pointed at in her dictionary had the English meaning ';hallucination.'; Needless to say we were both a bit confused for a minute.

I realized that I could have been leading you astray a bit. Like the other answerers have said, you should be using a dictionary to --supplement-- your learning. A Japanese to English and vice versa dictionary is great to use and portable (unlike an online version). But it depends on where you're getting most of your media. I have an electronic dictionary to help me in my day to day life and Rikai-chan and www.jisho.org to help me when I'm moving about the interwebs.

These pocket gadgets are good for augmenting your learning skills, but you will not be able to learn the language by using only the gadgets. To learn the language completely you will need grammar. Don't converse with him. You will always have at least one or two people that annoy you at work. And, I strongly believe that the sole purpose of work is to WORK. You do not need to socialize with him- you just need to learn to work cooperatively with coworkers. Never do you have to befriend them. You could always just report to your boss that a co-worker is acting rudely and immaturely and is distracting you from work production.
I have someone at work who annoys me daily also. I just don't talk to her. I think she has caught on, because when she starts talking I will focus on my computer. She notices I talk to everyone else, but usually give her one word answers. Be nice, but civil. There is someone like this at every job.
