I like those best out of the options you had before. I think they are cute, and they don't sound too much alike or too matchy. They are similar, but distinct at the same time.

Lily and Serena are my favourite out of the two combos there ...although ';Liliana'; is a pretty alternative and is definately going to be less commonly seen than the more traditional ';Lily';.





It also depends on the middle/surnames in question too! Maybe by looking at them, the names will seem to fit or not sound so good as planned?

you seem like one of those writers who spend more time on the planning and outlining than the actual writing.





writers who give all their characters frilly names make them less memorable, because they all sound like flowers. if the focus is on the main character's appearance and name, the actual personality is under-developed.





give them simpler names, and focus on the story itself. it will unravel much better, and you might even finish it.
