It should work without any problems, but you can't be too careful. You can never have too much RAM, so getting more would be a good idea. Vista is also known for not being the fastest, so you might have to deal with it being slow. You should also be worried about your video card, make sure it can handle what you're trying to download.
I would be more concerned about your video card compatibility. Most laptop video cards are scaled back versions w/o all of the 3D support that desktop video cards enjoy. Make sure that is the case.





Remember this as well, you can never have too much memory. If the laptop starts to bog down, throw more memory at it.

Okay, you will go in for a pre-op, while there they will tell you the type of Anesthetic they will use and the method. If they use gas, they will do a mixture of Oxygen and which ever gas anesthetic they decide on using. If they use a IV anesthetic they will give you a shot, and and possibly give you some gas to ensure that they you are under. Depending on the surgery they may intubate you (put a tube down your throat) so that they are ensured that you are getting enough oxygen. During the course of the surgery, they will monitor vitals, and everything else to be sure that you are stable. After the surgery, they will take you to the PACU, where they will monitor you until you regain conciousness from the anesthesia.When operations/surgery is done, of course they put the patient to sleep.. how exactly does this work?

They do a good job of explaining what to expect and how it works. The only point where I disagree with them is where they say that you will get an IV in the operating room and will already be sleeping... In my experience (7 different surgeries), they always have placed the IV in my arm during the pre-op area while I was awake.

I don't have this exact camera (not a fan of pink, sorry) but from my experience with cameras I can tell you that all of these things are common for inexpensive cameras. It's best to go with the popular brands like Canon and Nikon, but even those have their share of problems.

I know this sounds too simple: but did you try just hitting 'Enter.'? This will usually work for many personally owned computers but since yours is from a company, it may not.





Option 2: remove the hard drive (HDD) and place it in another computer as a slave drive and reformat it using that computer





Option 3: download and burn Ultimate Boot to a CD, place it in your CD/DVD drive, and follow the instructions. Download available at: http://www.ubcd4win.com/ or http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ (use the HDDErase or Boot Nuke option)

Since you reinstalling XP anyway you can reformat the drive (completely erases it) then install your OS. I think thats really your only option without the password.

Check the channel that the boat uses (they're often colour-coded) and be sure to get your transmitter set up for the same channel - or get one with a set of interchangeable plug-in crystals.

No, that's not true. They DO all work together -- but you have to actually start the game by clicking on the LATEST released game you have installed. If you install all the games, you CANNOT play your game by putting the disk that has the base game into your computer and then clicking on the icon for that game. It simply will not work because EA has set it up so it requires the latest released game in order to play. They did that to try to prevent people from loaning the newer expansion packs to their friends.





Anyway, once you install all of them, they are all combined so you only need to play one and everything is available. Out of the games you listed:





Pets, Apartment Life and University

Unfortunately at 12 it's very difficult to start a modeling career. You are too old for child modeling - normally you are signed before you are 8, and too young for the women's division - usually age 13-14.





You do need to be with a major agency to work with companies like Nordstroms. The top childrens agencies are Ford and Wilhelmina.Modeling...How would this work?
If you're interested in doing something like that, you first need to become a client of a modelling agency. You also need a portfolio assembled by a professional photographer. Through them you participate in go-see's, which are like casting calls for models.





They would of course pay you money, provided they picked you from thousands of other girls your age who were also hoping to be hired for the job.





Also, at 12 years old it's doubtful they would hire you for A%26amp;F shoots, etc., their models are much older than that. But they could choose you for flyers/catalogues for department stores and stuff.

Stores, and magazines get their models from agencies. yes, they would pay you. you probably don't have to live in a certain state to be a model. criteria all depends on who is looking for a model. different people want different models, and model types.

You gotta have portfolio some picks of you dressed in many different outfits and styles, Don`t get ripped off by the thousands of people out there just go to a photographer and tell them what you want and then contact a agent that represents child models and don`t pay them anything! They will try and rip you also.

Take some classes on modeling and don`t let them rip you off because they will and fast stay away from John Robert Powers modeling and do your research.

You start by contacting and being accepted by a modeling agency. They will help with the rest. That's what they do.





Sorry to say so, but.. 12 is pretty late to start out in 'kids modeling'. Others in your age range have a pretty good start by then. You may be at a disadvantage in that respect. Be prepared to work very hard if you are serious in this pursuit.

well i am not completely sure but i am pretty sure there is a sensor/contact in the latch that completes the connection. Personally i don't think that it will work but go ahead and try. Why I think it won't work: Circuits are designed with exact loads in mind. You are adding a new load. This will either blow the fuse or dim the trunk light or short out and cause a fire if you do it wrong.

Totally depends on what brands your talking about and how you want it to look and last. Some cheap brands are defiantly every bit as good as dept store brand. Different peoples skin will react differently also though. So it's trial and error. I use allot of pro brands and they are better than the others. More highly pigmented and built to last.

Veet contains a lot of chemicals that are very harmful for your skin, and can irritate the skin and hair follicles. I personally prefer shaving or waxing.

Keep in mind that Iraq and Afghanistan are deployments, not duty stations. It is possible that you could end up in Japan, Germany, Korea, Egypt, Honduras, etc. Your first duty station however, will more than likely be at the needs of the Army. After that, you can probably talk your branch manager into putting you somewhere that you want, or you can reenlist for a certain duty station. Also keep in mind that units in Germany, Korea, and Italy do deploy.How does this basic stuff works?
I am VERY sure you have not run this past your recruiter. If you want to study and take the ASVAB again you HAVE to do it BEFORE you sign the dotted line. Once you sign that is it, no do overs.





If you want to see if you can qualify for a MOS you wanted you need to do the test NOW or whenever they will let you retest.





It is not likely, but possible, to deploy soon after school. Depends on the unit you get sent to. Germany is the more likley place for Europe. France is not possible, they tossed us out in 1966. Japan has little Army as does Korea.

This is the military. We are at war in Iraq, not Europe.You go were you are needed and your say means nothing. As far as being stationed you get a wish list of East Coast, West Coast or Over Seas. Your choice isn't guarantied, but you might get what you want. Your MOS also is a major factor in this.





That's how the Marine Corps works. I'm guessing the Army is similar.
You can to wherever they STATION you based upon the needs of the army, as far as going to Iraq or Afghanistan you dont chose to go there that's a deployment so wherever you get stationed at if that unit gets orders to go to either of those places...either you re going or you're going AWOL. it sounds like your battery may have completely died...but then it'd still work on the power adapter...so..needless to say, your ipod died. is this common? sure? when youre' cranking out millions of these things because your aggressive marketing has made everyone foolishly think they need one and aren't cool if they don't have one. this is just a reflection of the overall quality of the ipod itself...it's not very good and diffently not worth the money. you could take it to an apple store...or somewhere..but, it's probably cheaper to buy a new mp3 player than fix the ipod...wait for zune.
Go to www.apple.com, sometimes they have iPods that'll probably get your iPod to work again.
As long as there are no dents in the back of it, ipod will surely replace it for you. Mine died also, and I had a tiny tiny dent in the back and Apple refused to replace it. Go to their site, and log in, from there make sure get the serial number off the back of ur ipod, and follow the instructions after entering it. They will then send you a box to ship it in. They take care of the shipping in most cases... From there, ship it, and you should have it back in about a week.





And yes, it is common for them to die. In my opinion, Ipods are junk, I will never buy 1 again.

Is this an effective work out plan?

I got to the gym 3 times + a week and go on the bike for 5 minutes then treadmill for 20 mins. Then various stomach crunches. On the stepper for 5 minutes then arm, butt, and leg exrcises on the weight machines - 2/3 sets of 12/15.





Should I be going more than 3 times a week and what should I be eating to make this even more effective....Help!Is this an effective work out plan?
I think that's a perfect beginner plan. Once you're adjusted to that, I would up it to maybe 4 or 5x a week if you want to lose weight though or for aerobic/cardio fitness. I have to work out at least 4 times a week to lose weight.





Nutrition you probably are already watching your fat and carbs, but it's always good to not eat too much of the unhealthy fats and carbs. I'm always trying to get more protein and dairy in my diet. I love www.sparkpeople.com lately which is free and has nutrition, fitness planning, and message boards, weight tracker, and a lot of other info and motivation. I've just started keeping a food diary on the site, and it's interesting seeing how many calories you eat and you can see how much protein/carbs/fats you're eating each day as it calculates out for you.Is this an effective work out plan?
If you can, up your cardio to 45 minutes. That should include 5 minutes of warm up and 5 minutes of cool down. Free weights are also a great way to tone your body. Search around online for some great moves or schedule a meeting with a personal trainer at your gym.

you should ask the bride. it's her wedding. and if you're the bridesmaid and she said you could pick out your own dress, trust me, she still wants to approve it. So for a bridesmaid's dress this seems fine. That is, as long as it is the right color, matching colors is always tricky! Check with the bride first before committing.

Is this a good work out routine for upper body?

I'm a 15 year old male. I've been working out for around 11 months now on the bowflex and I mix up my workouts so my body doesn't get used to it.





I read in Men's Fitness that doing too much can overwork and lead to smaller muscles and less strength.





An axample of my workout would be:


3 exercises for biceps. My first exercise is set at 65 lbs on each arm. I lift each arm independentally until failure. I then do some laying bicep curls until failure, which is only around 3-6 reps. And a final sitting bicep curl(s) with around 2-3 reps.





Then I take a 5 minute break/work on abs. I repeat the whole process again.





I am currently doing 3 SETS of the execises stated above. Is that overworking? Is it not enough? If not, what can I do to fix it?





This summer, I plan on increasing my sets to 4 and then 5, along with increasing my weight, because I'll have more time away from school this summer.

The key isn't so much as to the number of sets that you do for a body part, but as to the total amount of time that you are lifting. After 45 minutes of exercising the levels of the stress hormone cortisol start to rise a lot in the body, so that after 60 minutes you are actuallly doing more harm to your body that good. The ideal amount of exercise is 45 minutes, but anywhere in the 45 minute to 60 minute range is fine.





Also the ideal rep range for an exercise is 6-9 reps per set, with 7-8 being the ideal amount.Is this a good work out routine for upper body?
My best advice is to do your routine every other day.





I suggest this because every time you work out your muscle tissue rips and tears.....This days rest will give your muscles time to rebuild, making them bigger and stronger (that is why you are sore)! If you are not giving your muscles time to rebuild then it will take you twice as long to have the results you want.

Don't listen to Men's Fitness about overworking- if you put enough controlled stress on your muscles, they will grow. Stick to 3 sets, and just raise the weight if you can.





Are you doing protein? Optimum Nutrition makes a good and (relatively) affordable whey protein. You are supposed to take 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight if you want to get big.





But that MF article- it makes no sense- if you lift more, your muscles respond by getting bigger. Smaller- give me a break.

No need to worry. From the time you arrive at your departure airport the airline staff will take care of you. They have done it thousands of time in the past. Airline staff will escort you to your flight. The airline will notify the arrival airport that you are on the flight and again you will be met and escorted to your onward flight. The airline will inform your destination airport that you are on the flight and again you will be met on arrival.





Basically it's pretty easy and very friendly.

I gave my 2 weeks notice and now my boss is acting like a COMPLETE *****. it's really strange how someone can be so offended by me quittng. She is making it seem like I betrayed her or something. You didn't do something wrong by quitting. She is obviously unhappy to lose you. Just work your 2 weeks and do your best to leave everything as tied up as possible.How do you deal with this situation at work after you've quit?
you just need to live through it until the 2 weeks are up or they decide that you may as well just go home. it is not uncommon for employers to end the 2 weeks early as projects are complete just to not waste time on either end. realistically, since you put your 2 weeks in you aren't doing much there anyhow beyond wishing you were outside.
too bad for her. if she wanted you to stay, she should have offered you more money. you are entitled to live your life and you are not responsible for hers, and if she says anything rude to you i would say let her know that she is lucky to have received a notice of any kind.

Its not too bad I think unless you are unfit or just not used to exercising like that. Its probably best if you start off by doing half of what you have there and see how that goes and build up day by day until you can do all of it. If you find half of it easy then do more :)
Can you do 25 pull-ups? I think this workout is not a good idea at your age. Why not participate in some kind of sport instead? You'll get fit, toned and have fun with your friends. You'll also be building a good foundation for your body with which to work on in future.

A computer LCD monitor will work if it does have the HDMI (like you said). As far as sound goes, I believe the PS3 has optical audio out? You could use that to put sound through a receiver or whatever.

Rustam is incorrect, HDMI outputs both video and audio signals. The problem isnt the HDMI, its the monitor.Does anyone know if ps3 will work with this computer lcd monitor that has hdmi?
The HDMI only outputs the visual signal. You would have to get audio speakers that work with the plugs that you get with the PS3 (sorry, I don't know the technical terms) which usually go into the TV if you aren't using HD (the red and white/yellow (can never remember which!) ones), or the green and red (i think) ones. Go into setup on your PS3 and go through the stages to see which plugs it is compatible with.

Yes it will. I've tried it myself. But if your mother board can only run at the speed of the PC2100, do not expect it to run the speed of PC2700.

Generally as long as the RAM's keyway matches the motherboard it can be installed, however a faster DIMM that may not be compatible with your motherboard may need timing changes that only a do-it-yourself board has settings for. You can visit Kingston's web page if you have a factory built computer and need to know what is compatible with it.





Also please note that if you have slower sticks already installed, the new sticks will simply default to the slower frequency completely defeating the purpose of installing faster sticks in the first place.

How to avoid all this drama at work?

So, I have this part time. In order to pay for some of my school so I'm not head over heels in debt


Anyway, the people there can be really ridiculous! I work with a bunch of girls. There isn't a day that goes by with out something talking **** behind somebodies back!





not to mention everyday off I have they call me in because someone didn't show up! sick of it

Um, here is what you do, just keep to yourself and stop going in if they call you in. If they talk to you about someone just keep it minimal and change the subject. When they call you in, tell them that you have other priorities and other committments. That is what I do and I work with a mixture of men and women. They just get on my freaking nerves and since this is not my career I am not about to make sacrifices.





Girls talk about girls all the time so you might as well get used to it. It does not matter who is hot or who is not. Which is why most of my friends aren't female. I cannot handle and deal with all of that freaking drama.





On the flip side you can just look for another job but while in the process keep your distance.

well, one way to avoid this would be to try to find another job. do this while you are still at the old job to continue making money, of course. but if you don't want to switch jobs, then you could tell your employer that if you are being promised a day off, that you don't want to have to come in to work just because someone else is too lazy to come in. about the drama, you could either turn your back and ignore it, or have a sit down conversation with these people face to face and tell them how you feel about their childish behavior, because that's all it really is. hope this helps.
I can tell you from experience, any place where girls work together is a mess. They never get along and there is always drama, especially if there are also guys at work. Ohh, and if your the hottest one...they all hate you.
Just ignore them, and if that doesn't make them go away, then it might be time to find a different job!
