Verzion members do you think this would work?

the charger inside my phone recently broke. our insurance hasn't been turned on, but we've been customers almost a year and a half. If i got the insurance turned on soon would i be able to replace my phone soon?Verzion members do you think this would work?
When you originally got your phone, you had 2 weeks to add insurance, after that, you cannot add insurance onto your account until you updrade once again. Being a customer for a year and a half isn't going to get you anywhere to be honest with you. We wouldnt be able to replace your phone since the port was broken. Since you have no insurance, to get a new phone you qualify for the 1 year lost/stolen/damaged program, you can purchase a new device at the 1 yr price, typically you would be charged only $50 and we would replace it but if your still under warranty, your warranty does not cover a broken port.

Good Luck.

Best thing to do is take it into a store... they will let you know what they recommendVerzion members do you think this would work?
You can't turn on your insurance for your phone. They ask you once and only once. To get insurance on your phone and that is when you buy it. So you can't add or turn on insurance, but if your charger broke i believe you can find a cheap one on ebay. Verizon will not replace broken charger.
You could try and take it to them and just say its not charging at all unless its obvious you broke it haha, But they will probably want someone to look at it to decide if it is fixable otherwise you might have to wait until your insurance kicks in and pay like 50 dollars for a replacement, hope that helps
You can only get insurance when you get a new phone.

So no, it won't work.
