My itouch games wont play without Wi-FI connection??? is this how it works?

ok so i just got a itouch and i downloaded a few games, some i paid for others were free. They would connect with wi fi but without wi fi it doesnt work, why is that? is this how its suppose to work?

Not all games require wi-fi to function. For e.g. Spore %26amp; Bejeweled 2 (2 games I have on my iPhone) don't require wi-fi. I think it depends on the game.My itouch games wont play without Wi-FI connection??? is this how it works?
well it all depends on where you got the games from if you purchased it it shouldnt be like that but if you hacked it then it will be that way but usually it shouldnt need a connetion unless your using multiplayer
It depends on what games. You may need to update them, but if you just got them, you shouldn't have to. All of their games are supposed to work offline. Try emailing ITunes.
